But S2 didn't really like it, although he LOVES to drink Sunquick. Anyway, the boys had the icing colored ORANGE. S1 is a terrible fruit-eater, and the number of fruits that he would eat can be counted on one hand. Even fresh apples, he has trouble eating...But pop them into a crumble, he would happily devour them. I know nothing beats fresh fruit...but some kind of fruit is better than NO fruit, right?

Picture of Apple Crumble with Vanilla Ice-Cream.

Recipe

100 g Block Butter
200 g Flour
180 g Sugar
6 Apples (Peeled, cored, and diced)
Cinnamon Powder
Vanilla Essence

1) Arrange apples onto an oven-safe casserole dish
(I like to use PYREX as I can see the apple layer)
2) Add half of the sugar into the apples and mix well.
3) Sprinkle cinnamon powder and vanilla essence
4) Rub the flour and butter until resemble breadcrumbs
5) Mix in the remaining sugar.
6) Pour crumble mixture onto the apples, and pat lightly
7) Bake in a preheated oven of 180 deg C for about 50 minutes.
Note: This recipe makes quite a BIG tray

Onion Loaf

Went to Tony Roma's with H and the boys last Saturday. We ordered a Family Feast and an onion loaf. Managed to take a picture of the onion loaf but the boys ATTACKED the meats when the Family Feast came. What to do? We are a family of carnivores!!!! So, unfortunately, no pictures of the meats. There were BBQ Chicken, Fried Shrimps, Carolina Honeys Baby Back Ribs. Boys really loved the tender juicy ribs...

Contrary to popular belief...it is quite easy to get PORK over here. Even the baby back ribs served at the Tony Roma's in this populous Muslim country are PORK ribs. As I'm told (not been there personally), the Tony Roma's in KL serves Beef Ribs. Where got shiok???

Anyway, the onions were all arranged very neatly in rows and the into a ring, ie. with a hole in the middle where they put the dipping sauce.

First Thing First...

Okay...first thing first...

When I mean "Scrumptious Foods"....it would mean foods that my clan head and brood enjoys....So, don't go "ewwww...this recipe nice meh?" :-p

Yeah...
